Weatherford Optimist Club shows our support for the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse each year by renting red, white, and blue rodeo flag banners to local businesses. The rodeo flags are a way for organizations to welcome rodeo participants and patrons to our community. The rodeo flags add a festive and patriotic atmosphere during the days leading up to the rodeo.
The Parker County Sheriff’s Posse Rodeo has been a tradition for over 70 years. This year’s event will be on June 6-10, 2023. Banners will be hung after business hours a few days before the rodeo and removed shortly after the last performance.
Rental rates for rodeo flag banners are $15.00 per panel. You may email your information or questions to [email protected] or use the handy form below. The deadline is May 31, 2023.
Your participation in flying Rodeo flags allows the Weatherford Optimist Club to support the youth of Parker County. The Club has been helping youth for almost 60 years through such events as Flag and Tackle Football, Cheerleading program, Boy and Girl of the Month for 8th grade students as well as 12th graders, and a Communication Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
The Weatherford Optimist Club meets every Thursday morning at 6:30 AM at Weatherford College Student Center in the Strain Room. We guarantee that you will leave feeling Optimist.
