The Weatherford Optimist Flag Football Program was started some 15 years ago by Wayland Higginbottom to give our younger kids a chance to begin developing their football skills and learn the rules. We do not place more than 10 players on a team because we want each child to get as much playing time as possible.
Evaluations and draft schedule to be announced. Wear shorts, t-shirt and sneakers of some sort. Evaluations include throwing, catching and running.
