Important team-wide announcements for the 2018 Optimist football season.
6th Grade Roo Mentorship Program on Friday, August 17th at 7:30 PM
Weatherford High School is hosting all 6th grade Optimist Football players at the new indoor facility on Friday, August 17. All 6th graders will be paired with a Varsity player who will be their Roo Mentor for the season. Players will receive a t-shirt with their mentor's name and number, and receive a professional photo with the mentor provided by team photographer Larry Torbett.
This is a new program with great opportunities for young players to start thinking, planning, and developing into a future Roo.

Optimist Flag Football Player Evaluation RESCHEDULED for Tuesday, August 14th at 6:00 PM
Evaluations performed at Hall Middle School Football Field. Players need to wear shorts and tennis shoes. We should finish evaluations by 7:30 PM. Players not able to attend evaluations will still go into the Draft. Draft will be decided August 13th and players will be notified the following week.
