On Tuesday, September 25, the Optimist Club held the Annual Banquet. David Belding was the Master of Ceremony. David is a long-time Optimist member himself. The Club was honored to have David along with his wife, Angela to help celebrate the past year.
The banquet was held at the Vintage Grill and Museum in Weatherford.

Honored at the Annual Banquet were the Tison Boy and Girl for the 2017-2018 Year. Adison Feriend, Boy of the Year and Diana Antonio, Girl of the Year. Pictured with the students is Eric Sams, Tison Principal.
Hall 2017-2018 Boy and Girl of the Year were honored at the Annual Optimist Banquet. Bryson Crippen was the Boy of the Year and Emma Wolfenberger was Girl of the Year. They were presented by Stephanie Wynne, Hall Assistant Principal.
Henry Maddux was honored for 60 years as a Club member. Henry is a Charter member who has continued to be active by attending meetings weekly. Throughout Henry’s club membership, he has had many years of perfect attendance. In 1960, Henry was the Optimist of the Year which is a high honor presented to one member each year for their dedication and service. In 1961, Henry served as Club President and the following year as Governor.
Fellow Optimist, Bill Ward presented Henry with this award. We are honored to have Henry Maddux as an Optimist member.
